Next Doll

I'm having issues with what doll I should go next for, my girls need a guy because it's too dominated by females (like no guys whatsoever) but I'm not the type to just spontaneous buy a doll
I like to assess them, which one I like more and let a period slide and see if I'm still interested
I love the EIDs from Iplehouse but don't really like how the sculpts of the guys are as yet, I'm leaning towards Dexter though he looks so grumpy looking and it might be a bit difficult to soften up.

so this is what he's current starting price is.

Otherwise I was thinking of getting another girlie from FairyLand like the MiniFee or ChicLine, a middle size might be nice as they're more portable. But yeah, I think I'll be waiting for a bit though before I get another doll as I do not like the idea of buying a doll and not bonding with it and selling it.

So let's see if in a few month's time I'm still interested~! :heart: for now it's back to studying and enjoying the girls I already have

Modifying a Dollmore Gem 12" (Doll nudity)

Hi,
I happened upon a Gem 12" doll from dollmore and was surprised that it appears to be hard plastic. Instead of regretting buying her, I went "YES~! MODIFICATION TIME!"

She had some really horrible seam lines that I was able to get rid of (though she still needs sanding and more smoothing).

As you can see, with a small .... forgotten-how-they're-called knife, I've been working at getting rid of her disastrous seams~!

However I'm still working on her eyes as the 6mm eyes I got her are still too big. Honestly, her eyes were the tiniest little slits. She's looking much better now.
Update: I've ordered some eyes from MUDoll, both the normal 6mm and the ones that have a iris of 2mm~! Let's see if they suit better than the ones I ordered from KNIK beads on ebay.
(I have to take a pic of them so you understand why they don't really work on her,)

I'm also modifying her nose, trying to make it more shaped and to my liking.

So yeah, the plan once I'm happy with her sculpt, then I'll sand her smooth~!
and she will be ready for her face up~!

o.O Introduction I guess

Hi~! This is MyScribbles~!

I'm really new at this whole blogging thing but I tend to take a lot of WIP pics and I'm very crafty so if any of my crazy works inspire people out there, I'll be very pleased~!

Just also wanted to introduce my current doll family as I will be sewing a lot for them (and myself) and also be doing a lot of face ups on this blog :)

I've done their face ups. They're the only four I have currently done :D so I wont pretend I know it all lol
